Gluten Free Pantry Pizza Mix
This product is actually a make it yourself kit. I find the directions to make the pizza crust a little lacking but once you make it a couple times it works out pretty good. The yeast is provided in the box. It does not tell you in the directions that you need to hydrate the yeast. I find you get a better pizza if you do. Also save a small amount of flour to dust your hands as the dough is a bit sticky. This is the closest I have gotten to a regular pizza. If you are looking for something quick and easy this isn\'t for you. The dough needs 40 minutes to rise and then you need to spread it out on the pans. I normally get 2 large pizzas and a garlic fingers out of the crust. It states on the box you can freeze the remainder of the dough, I did this once and will not be doing it again. Once thawed it is extremely sticky and hard to manage. I always use this product when friends are coming over. They love this pizza and I am the only one of the group who has to eat gluten free. The dough is very filling. And you have the option to add honey instead of sugar to the dough so you control the sweetness of this pizza crust. To me it is well worth the time it takes to make this product.
