Udis Pizza Crust

Summary

You can Get this product normally in the freezer section or the bakery section of most grocery stores. This is a thin crust pizza. When you take it out of the packaging it looks like flat bread. It smells sweet and it does not crumble when touched. It has a texture that you would expect for a thin crust pizza. This crust is really good, We have cooked them in the oven as well as cooking them on the BBQ. If you do not like thin crust pizza this is not the crust for you. When baking in the oven you can have a softer crust but if you like crunchy thin crust bake it on the BBQ. It is sweet and salty and light to taste. It is like having a giant cracker topped with pizza toppings. It goes really well with wine too. We also at times have drizzled olive oil and garlic over these and made garlic fingers or wedges to go with pasta.

PaneRiso 8 Pizza Crust

Summary

One of the first pizza crusts I tried when I first went gluten free. This Pizza crust was stored on the shelf at my local grocery store so no freezing was needed. The pizza crust is a cardboard brown color and had a sponge like texture when you take it out of the package. First impression of the crust was it did not look appealing. I was skeptical it would taste anything like a pizza crust. Once cooked with toppings added I found there was a very grain like taste to it that I could not get past. There was a little sweetness to it. It was hard and crunchy and left an odd gritty aftertaste in my mouth. I was disappointed as I had tried some of their other products and had enjoyed them. Out of the pizza crusts that are now available this one was my least favorite.

Kinnikinnick Pizza Crust

Summary

You can get these in the freezer section of your grocery store. It comes in packs of 4 and is very reasonably priced. You can also go to their website and order online. I have bought them both ways. If you plan on buying Kinnikinnick foods in bulk buy through the website. It is easy to do and the product gets to you in a timely manner. When you open the box the product looks like frozen pizza crusts. They are not to thick and not to thin. they are soft to touch and do not crumble. I do find these a little heavier then other pizza crusts. They smell sweet and are appealing to the eye. Once cooked with toppings on them they are sweet and you cannot really tell they are gluten free. However I find they sit heavy in your stomach the types of flour used make the crust slightly dense. I still really enjoyed them though. with the right toppings you get a very hearty pizza.

ODoughs Pizza Crust

Summary

You will find this product in the freezer section of your grocery store. It comes in a box of 4 pizza crusts, and what I like about this one is that it comes with four individual pizza sauce packets and the sauce is really good. When you take it out of the box its a medium crust soft to touch and slightly sponge like. It smells sweet and doughy. The pizza sauce has subtle hints of Oregano and Basil. and the tomato is not to overpowering on the pizza. I love everything about this product.
