Robin Hood Gluten free flour

When I saw the commercial for this I have to say I was really excited that this company came out with a flour. All I could think was that this is going to be the flour I use from now on. Not so much. The Presentation of the bag it comes in is bright and cheerful and it makes you want to buy it. The bag is re-sealable which is great because you don\'t have to worry about using it all at once. The flour has a grayish hue and has an earthy smell to it. If you take a small amt and put it on your tongue it has an earthy taste to it and it\'s grainy to the tongue. The earthy taste I would think is contributed to the beet flour that it has in it. I can not get past that taste, it over powers the taste of everything I have made with this flour not matter what i do to it. And I tried this in a lot of recipes. I even did the cookie recipe that came on the bag and I still did not like it. If you like beet then this flour is certainly something you should try.
